About 20’s-30’s Pottery Night
It’s where I open my studio to those in their early 20’s to mid 30’s looking to meet people of similar age who enjoy going out doing crafty things or fancy trying something new in their local area.
Session runs 18:30–21:00 at my studio. All levels are welcome.
£25 per person, or £90 for group bookings of 4 people
What to expect
The session will begin with a demonstration of key hand-building techniques, such as slab building and coiling. After that, you’re free to start creating your own pieces—either from your own ideas or with the help of studio stencils.
Clay and underglaze (a special clay paint) are included.
Feel free to lock in on your work and unwind from the day or get chatting with your neighbour.
Firing fees
£1 per 100g (for reference, a large mug weighs around 200g)
At the end of the session, I’ll weigh and pay for your pieces. They’ll then be left to dry, bisque-fired, and finished with a clear glossy glaze. Your work will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 6 weeks after your session.
