Wednesday evenings 18:00-21:00 from the 5th of November to 3rd of December
These classes are for beginners and intermediate pottery levels. The first session will be an introduction to key hand-building techniques and a step by step guided on how to apply them to your first piece. I encourage you to bring ideas of projects you would like to make in the second class since weeks 2-4 you’ll be working on a project of your choosing. I will be there to support and assist you with these projects. In week two you will also be given a demo on the potters wheel and will have the opportunity to have at least two sessions dedicated to working on the wheel if you wish to.
Please note the potters wheel is taught at a beginner level; if you already have a foundational level of wheel throwing and are looking to advance please email me to discuss further before signing up. Week 5 will be primarily focused on glazing (painting) your pieces.
Class includes clay and glazes.
Please note its an additional £5 per kilo for firing costs. This will cover both bisque and glaze firings.
