Thursday Mornings 10:00-12:30 from the 11th of September to 23rd of October
This class is aimed for beginners who are looking for a more structured experience. You will be given step-by-step instructions on how to make a specific item in each session such as a spoon rest, mug, garden ornament or vase using hand-building techniques. You will also have the opportunity to use the potter’s wheel in one of the lessons. Weeks 1-5 will be working on the projects and week 6 will primarily comprise of glazing (painting) your pieces. For a less structured class where you can make items of your choosing please see my Beginner/Intermediate classes.
The class is 2.5 hours long and held on a weekly basis.
Class includes clay and glazes.
Please note it is an additional £5 per kilo for firing costs. This will cover both bisque and glaze firings.
Sessions will be held on Thursday 11th, 18th, 25th, of September and the 9th, 16th and 23rd October.
Please note there will be NO session on the 2nd of October
Classes must have a minimum of 4 people signed up to be confirmed
