Friday Mornings 10:00-13:00 27th of February-10th of April
These classes are for absolute beginners to intermediate pottery levels. The first session will be an introduction to key hand-building techniques and a step by step guided on how to apply them to your first piece. I encourage you to bring ideas of projects you would like to make in the second class since weeks 2-5 you’ll be working on a project of your choosing. I will be there to support and assist you with these projects. Week 6 will be primarily focused on glazing (painting) your pieces. This class is primarily hand-building but will have the opportunity to see a wheel throwing demo and have a go on the wheel which is taught at beginner level.
The workshop is 3 hours long and held on a weekly basis except for Good Friday the 3rd of April.
Class includes clay and glazes.
Please note its an additional £5-£10 per kilo for firing costs depending on size. This will cover both bisque and glaze firings.
Classes must have a minimum of 4 people signed up for it to be confirmed
