This class is aimed at absolute beginners to advanced beginner level. We will focus on hand-building techniques such a pinch, slab and coil.
Week 1 will be an introduction to the key hand-building techniques and a step by step guide on how to apply them to your first piece. I encourage you to come with ideas for objects you would like to make. Those who have taken the class previously are welcome to get right into their main project week 1.
Weeks 2,3,&4 will be spent working on project(s) of your own choosing
Week 5 will be adding finishing touches and colour to your pieces.
The workshop is 3 hours long and held on a weekly basis.
Class includes clay and glazes.
Please note it is an additional £5 per kilo for small items and £10 per kilo for long and wide items. This will cover both bisque and glaze firings.
Classes must have a minimum of 4 people signed up for it to be confirmed
All pieces will be fired and ready by the 21st of December to be collected in time for Christmas
